Interactive 3D WebGL recreation This project consists of an interactive 3D recreation of a real Basque fishing boat, designed to run directly in a web browser using WebGL and optimized for mobile devices, without the need to install applications. The model faithfully reproduces the Santana Berria, a fishing vessel from the Basque fleet based in Getaria, with a high level of detail. For its development, we carried out on-site documentation work, collecting real photographs and references of the boat, accompanied by its former skipper, who explained the operation and purpose of each of its parts. The experience allows users to freely explore the boat in 3D, rotating around it from any point of view, and interact with points of interest that guide them through different areas such as the bow, starboard, port or bridge. When accessing each area, new interactive elements lead to a photographic content viewer, where real images of the interior of the boat are displayed together with detailed explanations of each element and its function. An experience designed for the dissemination of maritime heritage through an interactive environment accessible from the web.
