Architectural Heritage - 3D Recreation According to legend, first built in the Roman era, it has undergone several reconstructions up to the present day. Iconic for its silhouette and for being part of local history. A very interesting interactive project, given its vertical structure with several floors to explore. We decided to create an aerial view to “fly” around the different rooms and understand its structure.
An Existing Building
From the outside, the appearance remains almost the same, as it has been carefully maintained. It is always a challenge to reconstruct a place that still exists in an older version that has remained practically unchanged.
Medieval Interior
There is, however, no information about what the interior was like. The process of researching and imagining how it might have been was very enjoyable, exploring other tower houses as similar as possible and applying the same logic to Etxaburu’s architecture.
